Mr. Mohammed Nurul Alam, CGIA, has been appointed as the country representative for the CGIA Institute in Bangladesh.
The CGIA Institute is a globally recognized professional body of finance and investment professionals setting global standards for ethical investment practices for the finance and investment management industry.
The Institute provides the Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA®) designation and it is headquartered in New York, USA.
M. Nurul Alam has over 40 years’ work experience in MNCs. He served in GSK Bangladesh as Internal Auditor and Head of Company Secretariat, He served Egypt based OrascomTelecom Bangladesh as Company Secretary and Head of Internal Audit.
He served as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of the Netherlands based VEON Ltd’s Bangladesh subsidiary country’s one of the leading mobile operators Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd.
Currently he is serving as Deputy Managing Director of Prime Islami Life Insurance Ltd and also a Director in the board of Prime Islami Securities Ltd.
