As a network, we strive to offer our members the opportunity to get involved in all year-round activities through volunteering.
While the Governing Board sets priorities and strategies for the network, committee members are the actual implementers of these strategies.
Our committees have specific mandates and we encourage you to join at least a
committee to get your voice heard and to help grow the network.

Join The Network

Membership Committee.

The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining the viability of network and CGIA Institute through recruitment and retention of members; and also, to increase members’ participation in the network and CGIA Institute related activities.
The committee communicates about the network and CGIA Institute, and also organizes networking events and informal member-organized gatherings.

Advocacy Committee.

Responsible for developing opinions and issue communiques to regulatory agencies and liaise with CGIA Institute, CGIA Networks, other professional organizations within the finance and investment management industry to promote ethical professional standards.
Some of the advocacies revolves around general financial literacy campaigns, Women in Finance and Investment Initiative (WiFII), Ethics etc.

Employment Relations Committee.

This committee is primarily responsible for positioning the CGIA designation and program as the leading qualification with the highest ethical and professional standard for the finance and investment management industry.
This committee actively liaise with employers, identify job opportunities and ensure that members are first to be informed of any job openings.
Regular stakeholder engagements and events are organized between employees and CGIA Institute to achieve its’ common objective.

Join The Network

University Relations Committee.

The University Relations Committee is responsible for all the network’s activities across various business schools in Bangladesh’s Universities. The mission is to promote the CGIA program and designation to students. The committee is also responsible for setting the framework and leading in organizing the CGIA Global Finance Challenge in Bangladesh.

Fund-Raising and Partnerships Committee.

As a non-profit network, we are responsible for raising funds to run all the network’s activities. This committee is therefore responsible for identifying and partnering with stakeholders to raise funds and sponsorships for all our activities in Bangladesh and also at the global level.
